You might start off the year in a pretty grim looking situation. Your finances aren't the best they ever have been, and you have been spending more than usual while enjoying the activity in your social life that is brought on by the Sun in Capricorn. You will start to bring your finances under wrap again when you put the focus back into work, helped along by Venus as it moves into Capricorn on the 12th February.
The real gains for you look to occur in the middle of the year. You need to get your head down to make this happen Scorpio! On the 22nd June Mars enters Scorpio, and financially you will soar. Don't be under the illusion that this will happen overnight - it will be the result of months of effort at work or in business, and it is now that you get what you deserve. So, why not enjoy it a little?
Well, you will and you do enjoy it! Venus is in Cancer from the 7th July, and suggests an increase in expenses. This isn't necessarily a bad thing for you though. You will spend more on your partner, or on yourself, and start to enjoy your personal life again, which is a breath of fresh air for you! Just be sure to keep the balance this time so that you don't end up back at square one.
For much of the rest of the year it is the movement of Venus that influences your finances, and this is really beneficial for you because it brings a sort of flow to your finances. Venus moves into Virgo at the end August, and then passes through Libra in September, Scorpio, and into Sagittarius on November 8th. This brings a nice long period of financial expansion, balanced by gentle and welcomed increases to spending. It is okay to buy yourself something nice during this time!
