Venus present in Libra is an excellent position for love, relationships and issues in your personal life. Venus is comfortable in its home turf and you will greatly benefit from this on the personal front.
Celebrated with great fervor across North India, Karwa Chauth is a special festival. It celebrates love and it urges people to go the extra mile for their beloved. The tradition of Karwa Chauth involves women keeping a fast for the long life of their husbands. The mother in law gives "Sargi"- an assortment of different food items that is to be eaten before sunrise, to fasting women. Speaking of traditions, as you may or may not be aware of, there is a tradition of gifting something special to your spouse on Karwa Chauth. Here's a little help to get you started.
Diamonds are a girl's best friend and so are you. If you can afford it, then go for diamonds and if you cannot, you know you are her best friend too and there is no dearth of ways to make your special girl feel special without burning a hole in your pocket. When you are madly in love, who needs money!
You can gift her something that she can make use of during Karwa Chauth-the dress that she wears, jewellery or a bag. But if you want to take the creative route, go for it! Customised mugs with photos of you two cuddling is sure to elicit many "Awws" from your sweetheart.
Nothing screams more love than a romantic candle lit dinner. And considering that your partner - or both of you - have been deprived of food for the whole day, would make the occasion more memorable. Get a little creative and turn your bedroom or any part of your home or your entire home for that matter into a romantic getaway. Get inspired from her favourite romantic movie or recreate the events from your first date or pretend like you've just met and it's your first date. And if you can sing her favourite song there's nothing like it. It doesn't matter if you have a good or bad voice, what counts is the gesture.
Conventionally, it is the menfolk who are supposed to get gifts for their better halves but perhaps it is time to break this convention, considering that a large number of men have already done so by keeping fasts for their partners. It's time you ditched these conventions too. Surprise your man by gifting him something special this Karwa Chauth.
How hard can it be to think of a nice gift for your husband? Men and gadgets go very well together. Your partner may have been fancying that new tablet or iPhone. So don't waste time and get him what he wants. However, if you aren't too keen on spending big, you can always be creative. Collect all the photos since the day you two met and make a collage. Or, if you aren't exactly technology phobic, you can also use a video making software to make a nice little video of you two.
