Irfan Pathan’s comeback

A few days back Irfan Pathan, who was once the backbone of the Indian Cricket team’s bowling attack made his comeback. He returned to top level cricket and showed he still has the fire burning inside him by taking a wicket on the very first ball. He struck twice and gave India an early advantage against West Indies in the fifth ODI in Chennai.

In one of his recent interviews, Imran revealed how he has matured as a player over the years. “I think I am a more mature bowler, much wiser, in terms of handling myself, handling my emotions, in terms of everything. Maturity level wise, I am much better than before, the only thing I need to do right now is go there and keep performing better than what I’ve been doing.”

Born on October 27, 1984 in Baroda, Irfan is an intense, dominating, and energetic Scorpio -- his hypnotic stare and vital force overwhelm those around him. He is passionate and committed to those he trusts. Upon the battlefield of life, he is the one who leads and creates a path for others to follow. Patience and creativity help him advance in life. He is likely to be the one that takes responsibility for those who are close to him.

In 2012, we will see a lot more of this left-arm pacer and he will make significant progress. His achievements will take him far in the months to come.
