India's latest boxing sensation, boxer Lovlina Borgohain etched her name on the Tokyo Olympics by adding to India's tally of medals as she brought a bronze medal for the country. This was India's lone boxing medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2021. India finished at the 48th position in the Tokyo Olympics, surpassing past performances and showcasing its best-ever performance. Undoubtedly, one can say that India truly saw its best-ever performance in the Olympics with a haul of seven medals, including a shimmering gold.
