Billionaires Who Are Followers of Astrology

It’s not necessarily true that becoming a billionaire requires nothing more than being highly educated or well-read. Intelligence, timing, determination, opportunity, and, for some, a little bit of luck can all play a role in achieving extraordinary success. For those who believe in astrology, however, the position of the stars and planets can also offer guidance about important decisions and future possibilities.

Many successful people and celebrities prefer not to speak openly about their beliefs. Their interest in astrology sometimes becomes apparent through practices such as wearing gemstones, consulting astrologers, following numerological recommendations, or even modifying the spelling of their names.

Here are a few well-known Indian personalities whose beliefs or practices have been associated with astrology, numerology, or related traditions.

The Ambanis

The Ambani family is known for its spiritual beliefs and has reportedly considered astrological and Vastu-related perspectives when making certain important decisions.

One frequently cited example is Antilia, Mukesh Ambani’s residence in Mumbai. Reports and popular accounts have associated aspects of the property with Vastu principles, a traditional Indian architectural system that emphasizes harmony between living spaces and their surroundings.

Astrology and numerology have also reportedly played a role in decisions associated with the Reliance group. Before the launch of Reliance Jio, the brand name and launch date were reportedly reviewed by astro-numerologist Sanjay B. Jumaani.

Nita Ambani has also been associated with spiritual practices and is sometimes seen chanting mantras in connection with her support for the Mumbai Indians, the IPL cricket team owned by the Ambani family.

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan has often been associated with astrology and numerology. He has been reported to wear gemstones, including blue sapphire and emerald, which are traditionally considered significant in Vedic astrology.

According to various reports, the Bachchan family has consulted astrologers over the years. One widely reported example concerns the marriage of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, which reportedly received the approval of astrologer Chandrashekar Swami.

M. S. Dhoni

M. S. Dhoni has long been associated with the number 7, which he considers significant. He wore the number 7 jersey throughout his cricket career and has spoken publicly about its personal importance.

Various accounts have also linked Dhoni with numerology and the number 7 in relation to important dates and decisions.

Naveen Jindal

Industrialist and former Member of Parliament Naveen Jindal has also been associated with traditional beliefs surrounding astrology and naming.

According to reports, names chosen for his children were influenced by their birth charts. His son was named Venkatesh, while his daughter was named Yashasvini, reflecting the family's traditional beliefs.

Astrology and Success

Whether astrology genuinely influences success is a matter of personal belief. Nevertheless, its influence on the personal and professional decisions of some prominent Indian business leaders, actors, and sportspersons has attracted considerable public interest.

For believers, astrology and related traditions can provide a sense of guidance when making important life decisions. For others, success is primarily the result of preparation, opportunity, perseverance, and informed decision-making. Whatever one's perspective, the continued interest of prominent personalities in astrology highlights the enduring role of these traditions in Indian culture.
