Veere Di Wedding

Veere Di Wedding is a ‘female buddy’ comedy film that celebrates woman power. To be released on 1 June, 2018, the trailer of this genre film, has already crossed 19 million views on YouTube. It is already garnering enough interest because of its bold and straight dialogues and also enough controversy because of the ‘cuss’ words used freely in it. It has thus, invited an ‘A’ certificate from Central Board of Film Certification.

The camaraderie between the four leading actresses, Kareena, Sonam, Swara and Shikha, in the film, has added a completely new flavour to the dialogues and real life situations depicted in the film.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, born on 21 September, is a Virgo. This is her first come back film post the birth of her son, Taimur. Kareena, realising that the team was waiting for her to finish the making of the film, worked hard to lose her pregnancy weight, post delivery. Being a thorough professional, she coordinated her work and baby Taimur’s schedules; so much so that many times she brought him to the sets for her shoot. But that's what a Virgo is all about; commitment and attention to details.

The film has already invited enough interest in it as producer Rhea Kapoor was willing to re-script the film by introducing Kareena as six month pregnant. This would then have been a ‘one of a kind’ film, where a Bollywood actress would have flaunted her real baby bump in a movie.

Swara Bhaskar, born on 9 April, is an Aries. This husky voiced, outspoken, girl has always brought life on the silver screen as she delivers her dialogues exactly as she looks - a girl next door. She is one actress who has not shied from acknowledging the ‘not-so-good’ realities of the Bollywood industry. Mars transit to Capricorn on May 2 will be a big boost to a Ram’s career. Swara will be able to accomplish a better form of recognition within the industry.
