Your messenger is the mighty Hanuman, whose greatness is renowned across all the three worlds.
Victory, victory, victory to the compassionate Lord Raghunath, who forever protects and nurtures His saints.
Meaning:
O Lord Shri Ram, the benefactor of devotees, please hear our humble prayer. One who remembers You constantly, day and night, is considered the greatest of devotees. Even Lord Shiva meditates upon You, while Brahma, Indra, and other celestial beings cannot fully understand Your divine play. Your devoted messenger, Hanuman, is celebrated throughout the three worlds for his immense strength and devotion. Glory to You, O compassionate Lord Raghunath, the eternal protector of the righteous.
Your mighty arms are immensely powerful, yet they always bring compassion and protection. By slaying Ravana, You safeguarded the gods.
O Lord, You are the refuge of the helpless and the eternal support of the poor and distressed.
Even Brahma and the other deities cannot fully know Your greatness, while all divine beings continuously sing Your praises.
The four Vedas stand as witnesses that You always uphold the honor of Your devotees.
Goddess Saraswati herself sings of Your virtues, yet even Indra cannot measure Your greatness.
Whoever chants Your holy name becomes truly blessed beyond compare.
The name of Lord Ram is infinite, and all four Vedas glorify its immeasurable power.
Meaning:
O Lord, Your strength is unmatched, yet it is always used for the welfare of the world. By destroying the evil Ravana, You protected the gods and restored righteousness. You are the guardian of those who have no one else and have always uplifted the poor and helpless. Even Brahma cannot fully comprehend Your greatness, and all the gods continually praise You. The Vedas testify that You always preserve the dignity of Your devotees. Goddess Saraswati remembers You constantly, and even Indra cannot fathom Your divine glory. Whoever chants Your sacred name is truly blessed, for the glory of the name "Ram" is boundless, as proclaimed by all four Vedas.
Even Lord Ganesha chanted Your holy name, and by Your grace, He became the first among all deities to be worshipped.
Sheshnag constantly repeats Your name, gaining the strength to bear the burden of the Earth upon his hood.
With Your remembrance, even the heaviest burden becomes as light as a flower.
No one can fully comprehend the extent of Your divine greatness.
Bharata held Your name in his heart, and therefore he was never defeated in battle.
Shatrughna's heart was illuminated by Your name, and by remembering You, he destroyed all enemies.
Lakshmana always obeyed Your commands and tirelessly protected the saints.
No one could defeat him in battle, even if Yama himself had joined the fight.
Meaning:
Lord Ganesha attained the highest honor of being worshipped first through the grace of Your holy name. Sheshnag gains the strength to support the Earth by constantly chanting Your name. Your remembrance makes life's greatest burdens feel light. Bharata remained victorious because he cherished Your name within his heart. Shatrughna conquered enemies through Your remembrance, while Lakshmana faithfully served You and protected the righteous with unwavering devotion and courage.
Along with You, Goddess Mahalakshmi also incarnated to destroy sin and establish righteousness.
Therefore, the sacred names of Sita and Ram are praised together.
Goddess Bhuvaneshwari manifested Her divine power.
When Mother Sita appeared, she emerged from the sacred vessel, and her beauty was so radiant that even the moon seemed humbled before it.
Whoever lovingly serves Your holy feet receives the blessings of the nine treasures.
All eighteen spiritual perfections (Siddhis) become auspicious and dedicate themselves to such a devotee.
Meaning:
Lord Ram and Goddess Sita incarnated together to destroy evil and restore righteousness. Mother Sita's divine beauty surpassed even the brilliance of the moon. Those who sincerely worship the feet of Lord Ram are blessed with prosperity, the nine treasures (Nav Nidhis), and the eighteen Siddhis described in sacred scriptures.
O Lord of Sita, all other divine powers and deities were created through You.
If You so desire, countless universes can be created in but a moment.
Whoever fixes their mind upon Your lotus feet surely attains liberation.
O Lord Ram, You are our eternal father.
Throughout Bharat, You are revered as the supreme deity.
You are the family deity of our lineage and our beloved spiritual master.

O Lord Ram, all divine powers originate from You. With Your mere will, countless worlds can come into existence instantly. Anyone who meditates upon Your lotus feet certainly attains liberation from the cycle of birth and death. You are our protector, our revered deity, and our beloved guide.
Whatever exists belongs to You alone, O Lord. Victory to You—please preserve our honor.
Glory to Lord Ram, the nourisher of our soul and the beloved son of King Dasharatha.
Victory to the radiant Lord, the embodiment of divine light.
You are the formless, eternal, indivisible Supreme Brahman.

O Lord Ram, everything we possess belongs to You alone. You nourish our souls and are the eternal light of the universe. You are the supreme, formless reality and the eternal truth dwelling within every heart. Those who worship You with sincerity attain righteousness, prosperity, fulfillment of desires, and liberation. Even Lord Shiva received devotion and divine powers through Your grace.
O embodiment of wisdom, bless our hearts with true knowledge.

Your holy name removes every sorrow and suffering.
The gods themselves have praised You as the eternal and pure Truth, while celestial conches and drums resounded in celebration.

O Lord, You are the source of all wisdom. Please fill our hearts with divine knowledge. Your sacred name removes every form of suffering. The gods themselves glorify You as the eternal Truth. You alone are everything to us—our body, mind, soul, and all that we possess.
Whoever recites this Chalisa receives the light of divine knowledge within the heart.
Such a devotee is freed from the endless cycle of birth and death. Lord Shiva himself declares this to be true.
Any sincere wish in the devotee's heart is fulfilled.
Whoever meditates upon the Lord during all three times of the day,
offers Tulsi leaves and flowers,
and presents simple offerings of leafy vegetables with devotion,
attains every spiritual accomplishment.
At life's end, such a soul reaches the divine abode of Lord Ram, where all are born as devotees of Lord Hari.
Shri Haridas joyfully sings that such a devotee ultimately attains Vaikuntha, the eternal abode of Lord Vishnu.

Regular recitation of the Shri Ram Chalisa enlightens the heart with divine wisdom and frees one from the cycle of rebirth. Lord Shiva himself affirms this truth. Sincere desires are fulfilled, and those who worship Lord Ram with devotion, offering Tulsi leaves, flowers, and simple food, receive spiritual blessings and accomplishments. At the end of life, they attain the divine abode of Lord Ram and ultimately reach Vaikuntha.

By the grace of Lord Hari, surely attains true devotion.
Whoever reads the Shri Ram Chalisa while meditating upon the lotus feet of Lord Ram,
Finds every righteous desire of the heart fulfilled.
Meaning:
Shri Haridas declares that anyone who observes discipline and recites the Shri Ram Chalisa with complete devotion for seven days receives the grace of Lord Vishnu and attains unwavering devotion. Those who meditate upon Lord Ram's lotus feet while reciting this Chalisa find their sincere wishes fulfilled and receive His divine blessings.
