Mr. Vijay Kelkar is a renowned astrologer throughout Maharashtra. He has changed the perspective of Indian astrology by giving it a modern and a scientific approach. He is the son well known astrologer Late Shri. Shridhar K. Kelkar of Pune. Astrology was his pursuit from a young age which made him rank 1st in "Jyotish Pradnya" at the age of 14. He was the youngest columnist (at the age of 24) on astrology in "The Youth Times", a fortnightly publication of The Times of India Group (1974-1978
