Hug Day - The Sixth Day of the Valentine Week

The 6th day in the Valentine’s Week is Hug Day and it falls on 12th February. Since it’s a Tuesday, for those of you working, you may have to wait till the end of the day to hug your partner. But that can be a good thing as well. Relieve them of their stressful day by having a long hugging and cuddling session tonight.

Valentine’s Week can be a great way to get to know your partner better, and bond on the various celebratory days! For those of you who have recently gotten committed, take special notice of how and what your partner does.

Whether it is Rose Day or Teddy Day, finding out if your partner likes flowers or cute stuffed toys for that matter can be a great way to know more personal details about them.

This year, on Hug Day, for those of you who have been in a relationship for sometime, hug your partner tight and tell them how much you love them. And for the new couples, find out how comfortable your partner would be with hugging. When words are not enough, this physical contact can help you bond and convey your message.

Sometimes simply saying ‘I love you’ may not be enough. Add a hug here, and you’ve got the complete package!

There are a number of benefits of hugging a loved one. Not only is it good for your relationship as it builds trust, having your partner’s arms around you can also give you a sense of safety and security. Let your partner relax with your warm hug. Hugs have emotional, psychological, and even physical benefits.

We have all come across someone or the other who was not completely comfortable with too much physical contact, or would get a bit awkward if you were to get ‘too touchy’. Astrologers believe that you can predict how comfortable your partner may feel getting hugged, based on their zodiac sign.

According to astrology, some zodiac signs like Taurus, Cancer, Aries, and Leo love to be shown affection. If you are dating either of these zodiacs, do not be afraid to initiate physical contact. They will surely reciprocate!

There are zodiac signs, however, who do not necessarily like to be cuddled or hugged for too long. If you are dating a Gemini, let them initiate. They will hug you if they are feeling the moment. This way, it saves you the trouble of overthinking the hug.

On the other hand, Aquarius and Virgo are often conflicted. They will not be the first to initiate the hug, but if you catch them being a little fidgety, or staring at you a bit, definitely give them a tight hug. Since they are not very fond of being held for too long, you may have to suffice with a quick (maybe tight) hug.

For those of you who are not in the same station as their loved one, sending a cute message like,”I’d give anything to hug you the whole day today”, will make her/him love you even more.

Find out how you can ‘strategise’ your hug in order to convey your inner most feelings! Consult an astrologer now.

Astroyogi wishes everyone a happy Hug Day.
