The Vibration of Attraction!

If anything can impact the quality of your life, it is raising your vibration. What is vibration exactly? Many people have heard about it, but they don't actually know what it means. They think it's a touchy-feely feel-good factor that makes us happy. Actually, it's the opposite. When we are happy, we raise our vibration. That still doesn't tell us what vibration actually is! The entire universe is vibrating at a particular frequency, 432 Hz to be precise. Listening to a sound at 432 Hz is especially pleasing to the ear and is said to reduce stress and promote emotional stability by putting you in sync with the rhythm of the universe. It's the radio channel that the universe is listening to! So how do we listen to this station? How do we tune in? How do you actually raise your vibration?

First, understand that “Everything is energy, and energy is everything.” Nikola Tesla said, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” Our physical bodies are affected by the vibrations and frequencies that we operate at.

On a day-to-day level, how does this work? While undoubtedly, the actions you take and the words you utter can alter your vibe (a cool word for vibration) but how you feel about yourself, how you feel about others, or any given situation, changes your vibration, and from vibrations, our reality changes. It's one of the laws of the universe, the law of vibration.

Hey, wait a minute! You thought that the law of attraction was the game-changer? You read The Secret, and now you are confused. How are the law of attraction and the law of vibration different from one another? Is one more important than the other? Let's take a look at this in our day-to-day life. When we pray, we generate thoughts and emotions that are triggered in the Hindu culture by the very deity we are praying to. The deity, in fact, shifts our focus to Saraswati for education, to Laxmi for abundance, and to Ganesha for a new beginning. The power is not in the deity, the power is within us, and we reach out to make a connection with the universe. The happier our prayers, the more positive our vibration, the more positive our vibration, the better the outcome. This is precisely why belief and devotion work so well for simple people.

Ever noticed the tradition of having sugar and curd in so many Indian homes before going for an exam? Something sweet to bring a certain positivity within us and curd to keep the mind cool before setting off for an exam. It creates a subtle shift within.

Many people will say all the right things, and they do all the right things, and yes, these things activate the law of attraction, but sometimes, it doesn't work, and there's a reason for that. The law of attraction will not work unless the law of vibration is working first. The law of attraction helps you get precisely what you want, but the law of vibration is 'how you get it.'

So let's say you are focussed on a desire, something you have wanted for years, for example, admission to the university of your choice or to meet someone who you would like to marry. Strong identification with your desire, basically knowing exactly what you want, triggers the law of attraction. However, if you are anxious and fretting about whether you will get the university you want even though it is your deepest desire and you have it up on a vision board, it won't happen or certainly not at the rate you would wish.

The law of vibration demands that you relax and feel good about the decision you have taken.  Once you are able to do so, the law of attraction gains momentum. The law of vibration literally gives it a big push. The tiny particles of energy, our thoughts, our words, and our actions, are now happy particles of energy that bounce quite literally towards a positive outcome.
