Celebrity Libra: Kate Winslet

The English beauty Kate Winslet is one of the leading actresses from Hollywood. This gorgeous actress started her illustrious film career with the hit TV Series Dark Season in 1991, and went on to work for some of the biggest movies, including Iris, The Reader, Titanic, Little Children, Revolutionary Road, etc. Winslet has also given some huge hits, including Titanic (1997). The film smashed all previous records, and its massive success made her one of the topmost heroines.

Winslet has also pocketed a record six Academy Award nominations, one of the youngest film personalities to do so. She won the coveted award for the Best Actress for The Reader (2008). Though Winslet has been pretty successful in her film career, her personal life has not been so lucky, and has undergone much tribulations over the years.

Her marriage to the film director Jim Threapleton ended in divorce. Later, Winslet got married to another film director, Sam Mendes. However, this marriage, too, did not turn out something positive for the actress.

Winslet was born on October 5, 1975 and this makes her Libra by both moon and sun signs. Friday is her lucky day; while 6, 15, 24, 33, 42, 51, and 60 are her lucky numbers. Sapphire and Turquoise are the lucky stones for Winslet. Libra is the lone inanimate sign among all zodiac symbols. A typical Libra female is slim with lovely curves. Winslet may not be slender but she surely has the curves to die for. Much like other typical Libra females, this pretty actress is also famous for her elegance, beauty and refinement.

The coming year would bring much sunshine and good news for Winslet. Benign planetary influences would not only boost her career in 2011, it would also usher in some positive news for her on the personal front. But, Winslet would do well to avoid over indulgence in food, and particularly drink, as the latter may not be in the interest of her kidneys.
