Box office prediction: The Dirty Picture

The wait for Vidya Balan’s ‘The Dirty Picture’ came to an end today as the movie has hit theatres. All cinemagoers will get to see an altogether new avatar of Vidya Balan. Not only has she looked hot and sexy in this complete change but her powerful performance promises to rule once again the hearts of millions of cinema lovers.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. So going by the title, if you think this picture has only dirty scenes to offer then you have got the wrong impression. ‘The Dirty Picture’ has been inspired by Silk Smitha, the 80’s sex symbol of South Indian films. It depicts Silk’s rise from a make-up girl to the most wanted heroine of that era. Fame, money, success – she gets everything, yet she falls victim to loneliness, desire for true love and alcohol.

The year 2011 adds up to Number 4 (2+0+1+1 =4). This number is governed by the planet Uranus and the number 4 has an affinity for those governed by the numbers 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8. It indicates energy, force and progress and the same can be expected for the film.

Vidya Balan is in her 34th year, which adds up to number 7. Number 4 and 7 go along really well. So, this film will do extremely well for Vidya and the people associated with it. Milan Luthria and Ekta Kapoor team will register yet another hit that appeals to all audiences. And most importantly, this film has a good script backed by superb performances from its cast. ‘The Dirty Picture’ will be a complete entertainer.
