Dreams have remained a marvel of the human conscience. Whether we believe it or not, dreams have an impact on our daily lives. Some consider dreams to be the result of emotional concepts hence creating more explained images in the form of dreams. When one realizes the fact that millions of people with different culture and language have similar dreams, the idea becomes a captivating one. The images in our dreams sometimes can be straightforward; a reflection of what we think but not all dreams are easy to decipher.

Here we have explained the meanings behind some of the most common dream scenarios and they do have a generally accepted meaning. Let’s take a look:

When someone dreams about food, it can also be a manifestation of well-known idioms like, “food for thought”. On a deeper level this can also reflect about unfulfilled desires. Dreaming about food can also be directly related to emotions, spirituality and intellect. This can imply our hunger for something new in life. But different kinds of food may have a particular significance; this also depends on the shape and color of the particular food.

Dreaming about animals has different meanings and it largely depends on the type of animal. In general, animals are believed to exhibit a part of our personality which is not dominant. It can be our underlying fears or hopes. Wild animals represent the sub conscious side to our personality which is untamed. Dreaming about domesticated animals can either mean the tamed and conscious part of our mind or maybe a particular animal who means something to us. If we dream about speaking animals it implies hidden knowledge which cannot be easily obtained through conventional sources.

The most common dreams are about flying. This can either indicate issues related to confidence or power. Flying symbolizes freedom which is beyond human abilities. When we do fly in our dreams, we conquer our limitations and recognize our own sense of power. It would be interesting to know that our dream’s flight also holds a deeper meaning. A smooth and a good take off denotes blessing but falling dreams indicate things in our life which we feel are very much out of control.

Dreams about nudity can have a wide variety of meanings depending on the situation of our life at that particular time. Being naked symbolizes vulnerability and our need to be accepted. The particular body part that is exposed can give us a deeper insight into the emotions of our dreams.

Chase dreams usually indicate anxiety and fear.  This may imply a vulnerable state making us feel physically threatened, making us run away to escape the situation. Being chased can also mean our way of coping with stress and pressure in life, which is by avoiding any kind of confrontation but this is something which definitely requires our attention.

Death is also believed to be one of the most common dreams. Although death is often perceived as negative, dreaming about death can totally mean the opposite. Dreams about death can relate to dramatic changes in life; maybe the end of something in order to start something new.
