The Water Element

The Water Element

Zodiac signs are split into 4 elements-Earth, Water, Air and Fire. All these four elements have certain special characteristics and blessed with some specific set of skills which differentiate them from each other.

The water signs-Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces

Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are the three water signs. Water signs are sensitive and emotional. Most people born under any of the three water signs tend to be extremely shy and may even appear aloof to the world. Their emotions often have an upper hand in their life and dictate most of their decisions. In addition, they do not trust people easily, but once you are able to win their trust, they emerge out of their shells and are pretty comfortable sharing themselves with others.

All the three signs are not entirely similar to each other. They can be distinguished based on the different qualities they fall under.

Cancer is a cardinal sign and people born under this sign display excellent leadership qualities and never hesitate to make the first move. They are sociable creatures and like to make many friends. In a party or any such event they are often the ones hogging the limelight and enjoying themselves to the hilt.

Scorpio is a fixed sign. Fixed signs are known for their perseverance. They are not satisfied with what people tell them and are always looking to dig deeper and unravel the truth behind the mysteries of life. On the flip side, they can be obsessive and stubborn to the point of not letting go of something or someone, even if it does not actually serve a purpose and may even be detrimental to them.

Pisces is a mutable sign, which means that they are comfortable with changes and are quite flexible. Being so flexible, however, may work to their disadvantage sometimes. Mutable signs are sometimes not able to distinguish between what’s right and what’s wrong. Also, they tend to get too confused with what they actually want in life.

Water signs share different levels of compatibility with the other 3 elements. Here’s how the water signs gel with the other elements.

Water and Earth

Earth and water signs make for a great combination. Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo are earth signs and they gel quite well with the water signs. With their sensitive nature and affection, the water signs are able to help their earth counterparts seek balance in life. On the other hand, the earth signs support them and help them deal with the challenges of life.

Water and Fire

Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are the three fire signs. When the two come together, fireworks are always expected. Although, water and fire do not quite go well with each other but if they manage to work out their differences, there are chances that a water and fire pair might be able to make their relationship work. Still, the odds off their relationship lasting for a long time are quite few and there is also the risk of mutual destruction.

Water and Air

Water and air signs (Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius) form an unbreakable bond. Water helps air understand the deeper secrets of life, and air in turn helps bring out the creativity of water. Out of all the combinations, water and air are least likely to get into arguments and can make the perfect pair.

Water and Water

Water and water is a powerful combination that may either lead to complete harmony or drive both the partners insane. Since, both of them belong to the same element, they might understand each other better and form a deep bond or might throw themselves at the mercy of life.
