Full Moon

Every 29.5 days, the Earth is located directly between the Sun and the Moon, and the Moon then appears to be a complete circle. This completely round and illuminated phase of the moon is called a Full Moon.

Native Americans would assign special names for the Full Moons, according to the activity that would take place during that month.
