What to Expect as Saturn Goes Retrograde Today!

What happens when there is a Retrograde?

Saturn is turning retrograde (Vakri) on 14th March 2015 covering the maximum period under retrogression. During this period of retrograde a planet turns unpredictable and loses its ability to deliver consistent results. It would start delivering good results at one point of time and negative results at another point of time. At some point it may also become neutral suddenly and deliver no results at all. Saturn goes retrograde for almost five and half months. How does it have an impact on any individual depends on how Saturn aspects a person’s horoscope according to their birth chart.

Importance of Saturn Retrograde

Saturn unsurprisingly holds a very important place in every individual’s life. It is also known as the Karmik Planet as it delivers the consequences be it good or bad according to a person’s action. Since it is going retrograde for five and a half months, its worship is very important and crucial to be maintained in day to day life. During the transit this time, Saturn has positioned itself on Scorpio sign which is ruled by Mars and it maintains a cordial chemistry with Mars.

Effects of Saturn Retrograde

Interesting aspects related with retrograde Saturn is that first it motivates an individual to do some self-analysis. On the other hand during this time, Saturn also delivers justice to human beings for their actions. This is when an individual’s endurance and patience levels may be tested to the extremes.  Individuals born under Aries ascendant, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Aquarius would fall under the direct impact of this retrogression. Especially individuals with Scorpio Ascendants may feel that no matter how he works there will be no results. Any new undertakings be it some projects or a new venture should not be initiated during the period of retrogression. When Saturn is retrograde, it would delay all the positive and critical activities involved in any project/venture undertaken. As mentioned above, Saturn is occupying Scorpio so individuals born under the Scorpio Ascendant need to be extra careful, also because Moon’s presence in Scorpio is very weak. Moon however in astrology refers to the “mind” so likewise any infirmity to the mind may have a negative impact on an individual’s thinking pattern.
